How We Work
ExtraMD's APPROACH:
Call ExtraMD as soon as you identify a need for an extra physician; the sooner you call the more likely we will find a physician to fit your practice needs. We will ask you what your practice is like—what type of practice, how many patients, what proportion are pediatrics/ob, hours, call coverage etc.
ExtraMD will match a physician with your practice, and send you resumes to preview. We will fit into your practice—our physicians are flexible and will match your office style.
ExtraMD will respond quickly and try to accommodate your requests.
ExtraMD will try to handle everything just like you would, i.e., labs, x-rays, special procedures: we just need you to tell us clearly how YOU like things done.
ExtraMD IS UNIQUE BECAUSE:
ExtraMD is local—we are a group of physicians that do this for a living. We form long-term relationships with you and your patients. You can request the same doctor over and over, which you and your patients will appreciate.
ExtraMD is reasonably priced—because we are local and small, you pay a reasonable fee. In addition you aren’t paying extra to fly doctors in, and you don’t pay for room and board.
ExtraMD is flexible—we work at many different places, and can accommodate half days and full days, as well as short- and long-term requests.
